Fishing for bass, coalfish, cod, flounder, mullet, sea trout, golden grey mullet and turbot.
John O’Shea of Skellig Tours also offers a range of fully licensed sea fishing trips on his boat “L’Oursin” tailored to suit the novice and avid angler alike. Fishing trips include:

Sea Sports
Derrynane Sea Sports offer equipment hire, including wetsuits, as well as beginner’s lessons. Activities include; sailing, surfing, stand-up paddle boarding, canoeing and kayaking, snorkeling, windsurfing, and water skiing.
Sea Swimming
Derrynane beach is sheltered and safe for swimming. There are lifeguards present during the summer season.
